Tiffany Blue
Recently one of my brides sent me pictures of her Chicago wedding. I love getting photos from my customers wearing their Simply Chic custom items on their wedding day!! Of course, the bride was stunning and her wedding party looked amazing all decked out in Tiffany blue. Her photos totally inspired me to post all things tiffany blue :) Hope you enjoy!

Is it March Already?!
I can't believe today was the first day of Spring! The weather was a balmy 4 degrees this morning when I headed outside for my first run of the season. I have to say, sneakers hitting the pavement was a welcome feeling despite the chill! As spring begins to make its official debut, I am reminded that wedding season is fast approaching and things around my little studio/office are getting pretty busy!

Year in Review
As 2011 is coming to a close, I'm feeling what a whirlwind year it has been! My little business, Simply Chic, has had its first 7 months of successful sales and has seen a bit of growth and lots of exciting changes! The new website is in construction mode and we've had our first wedding show and fashion show and our first photo shoot to showcase a new wedding collection. All very exciting, if you ask me :)
On the home front, all my little ones have been growing too. My baby M has been walking and climbing up a storm and this month he has been saying lots of first words - so that is very exciting and sad at the same time to be seeing him grow out of the cute baby stage and into a toddler.
2012 will see a lot more new changes, both in business and at home. My sweetheart heads off to Afghanistan for 10 months for his job. He is in the Military, so I will stay here to hold down the fort. Being a military "significant other" isn't always easy, but we will get through it! It's just one of those life challenges that you encounter along the way...
With all of that said, I'm going to leave you with lots of "year in review" type photos!
